Brio Retirement Living – part of Places for People – has welcomed retirement industry expert Stephanie Briggs to its team, as she takes on the brand-new role of Southern Sales Manager for its Cotswold and South London luxury developments.
Stephanie will oversee the sales teams at both Beechwood Park in Stow-on-the-Wold, and Button House in Hackbridge. She brings a wealth of experience with her since a career change 16 years ago from Forensic Crime Scene Investigator to property professional and later living expert.
Stephanie explains: “I spent many years in forensics which was a great career, but following a complete 180 over 16 years ago, I am now so happy working in the later living industry which provides huge job satisfaction – especially in my new role at Brio. I’ve only just started in my position here, but I already feel like one of the Brio family. Not only are our homeowners’ content and happy but the team is too – I’ve never known a company look after each and every person so well.”
Stephanie is looking forward to bringing her vast experience to the role which includes previous knowledge from working in positions at Birchgrove, McCarthy Stone and The Senior Move Partnership.
She continued: “My new role includes strategic planning and growth at our Cotswold and South London developments, where I’ve already spent time with our teams and homeowners. I hope to visit our Landale Court development in Chapelton, Aberdeenshire, very soon too so I’ve an overarching knowledge of everything we offer to those looking to enjoy their later years in one of our luxury homes.”
In addition to supporting her sales teams, Stephanie will be working closely with prospective residents and their families to help them discover all the benefits that retirement living has to offer. From building trusted relationships to guiding customers through every step of their retirement living journey.
Jess Nicoll, National Sales & Marketing Manager at Brio, added: “Stephanie joins us with a wealth of experience in the retirement living and later living sector, bringing with her a strong background in business development, customer engagement, relationship building, and supporting people as they make important lifestyle decisions.
“Her passion for helping people find the right community and her commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences make her a fantastic addition to the Brio family. At Brio, we believe retirement living is about so much more than finding a beautiful home. It’s about creating vibrant communities where people can thrive, stay connected, enjoy new experiences, and make the most of every day. Stephanie shares that vision, and we’re excited to see the positive impact she will make across our southern developments.”
Outside of work Stephanie enjoys spending time with her partner, their two border terriers, and two cats. She enjoys keeping active by going to the gym, running and horse riding.
Brio homes are available to buy, rent or part buy/part rent, offering stylist, vibrant retirement living, whilst a team on hand can offer a range of care and support packages if or when required.
