MAY 2024
Tickets on-sale: Friday 22nd September at ticketmaster.co.uk

British soul legend and multi-platinum singer-songwriter Kenny Thomas has announced that he and his all-star band will be hitting the road in Spring 2024, on a 9-leg UK tour.
Kenny will take his soulful flair and greatest hits such as ‘Thinking About Your Love’, ‘Best of You’ and ‘Outstanding’ to some of the most historical theatres across the country, including Edinburgh Queens Hall, York Grand Hall and St George’s Bristol.
On the tour, Kenny says:
“ Live gigs are one of the most enjoyable aspects of being a musician and it’s where my fans come together for a night of Soul-music and serious partying. So to announce the ‘HIM’ 2024 tour is really exciting for me and the band, and it’s an opportunity for us to play songs from my third album HIM which was never commercially released.
Over three decades on from when I first started out, this tour demonstrates that Soul-Music is here to stay. ”
The announcement comes off the back of news that Kenny is to release a ‘Best Of’ album this year on November 3rd. Released on vinyl and CD, the album features all the big hits, fan favourites, and thought-to-be lost masters from his unreleased third album ‘HIM’, which were recently discovered.
In November and December this year, Kenny will embark on his ‘Brit-soul ascending’ tour performing his biggest UK theatre tour in over 20 years including a date at London’s Indigo at The O2.

Kenny remains one of the most important and successful UK soul singers of his generation with his debut album ‘Voices’ selling 600,000 copies in the UK alone on Chrysalis Records in 1991 achieving a total of 8 Top 40 singles and 2 Top 10 records whilst picking up 2 x BRIT-Award Nominations for ‘Best Male Vocalist’ and ‘Best Newcomer’.

Tickets on-sale: Friday 1st December at ticketmaster.co.uk

Multi-platinum selling and 2 x Brit-Award nominated soul legend Kenny Thomas has announced his biggest ever UK greatest hits tour for Autumn 2024, featuring The Soul-String Collective, celebrating the greatest hits from throughout his career which has seen him become a British soul music icon.

Following on from a run of sold-out dates in 2023, as well as his previously announced ‘Him’ tour for early 2024, ‘The Outstanding Greatest Hits’ tour will see Kenny celebrate over three decades in music in a way he’s never performed live previously.

The shows in some of the country’s grandest theatres, including a date on Saturday 2nd November at the iconic London Palladium, will see Kenny backed by not only his all-star band, but The Soul-String Collective; the funkiest, most-soul infused string players in the UK.

This follows on from the recent release of ‘The Very Best of Kenny Thomas’ album on Chrysalis Records, which featured not only his 90s hits and fan favourites, but tracks from a forgotten album ‘Him’ that was originally thought lost. Classic Pop gave the album 4*’s, saying that Kenny’s hits ‘… slip down as easily and enjoyably as a strawberry daquiri during happy hour.’

On the tour, Kenny says:

“ To be finally announcing this Outstanding Greatest Hits tour in 2024 is something really exciting for me as it’ll be the very first time these songs will have been performed live alongside an amazing live string section in some of the country’s most amazing venues including the London Palladium for a special hometown show.

The connection I’ve had with my amazing fans over the past 30 years is nothing short of incredible and it’s been a shared journey, so I can’t wait to get out on the road with the band for what will be our biggest ever tour.”

‘The Outstanding Greatest Hits Tour’ will begin in Birmingham Symphony Hall on 18th October, and will then call at Newcastle, Southend, Manchester, and the London Palladium, before the finale at Nottingham Royal Concert Hall on 3rd November.

Kenny Thomas stands as one of the UK’s most successful soul singers of his generation, having had two Top 10 albums and eight Top 40 singles over his thirty-year-plus career.

His debut album ‘Voices’, released in 1991, sold over a million copies worldwide, going double platinum in the UK alone and features the top 5 hit ‘Thinking About Your Love’. He also appeared on TOTP a remarkable 9 times in under 3 years.

Supporting Kenny across the tour will be BRIT nominated singer-songwriter Rumer, who’s first album ‘Seasons of My Soul’ landed in the Top 3 of the UK Albums Charts and achieved Platinum sales status as well as earned her a MOJO Award for Best Breakthrough Act. She’ll be joined by jazz-funk collective Redtenbacher’s Funkestra.
